{"id":165553,"date":"2015-11-09T13:23:35","date_gmt":"2015-11-09T13:23:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=165553"},"modified":"2015-11-09T13:23:35","modified_gmt":"2015-11-09T13:23:35","slug":"amidus-claims-will-help-unravel-truth-in-anas-expose-ndebugri","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/11\/amidus-claims-will-help-unravel-truth-in-anas-expose-ndebugri\/","title":{"rendered":"Amidu\u2019s claims will help unravel truth in Anas\u2019 expos\u00e9 \u2013 Ndebugri"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">John Ndebugri, lawyer for some of the implicated judges in Anas Aremeyaw Anas\u2019 investigative piece says the latest claims by anti-corruption campaigner; Martin Amidu will help unravel the \u201ctruth\u201d in the matter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said Mr. Amidu&#8217;s piece \u201cwill inure to the benefit of whoever is being dealt with under the petition he [Anas] presented [to the Chief Justice].\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;qFFkdOY5kFnpB5mJk6wLUpAEBwWAslOs&#8221;]Martin Amidu in his recent write-ups accused Anas of using a \u201cnot-for profit\u201d anti-corruption investigation for his own entrepreneurial work and tagged him as an \u201c<span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/11\/09\/anas-is-an-anti-corruptionpreneur-amidu\/\" target=\"_blank\">anti-corruptionpreneur<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Mr. Amidu, Anas <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/11\/09\/martin-amidus-full-statement-on-judicial-corruption-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\">edited the supposed corruption video<\/a><\/strong><\/span> to shield some corrupt judges who according to him, are still at post.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEven as I write, there is evidence that some judges who were also offered and accepted bribes by the commissioned undercover investigators are still working as judicial officers because the investigators have not yet submitted any petition to the President due to hitches with the video recordings but have notified the Chief Justice and the Judicial Council of these facts,\u201d Amidu added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Commenting on the matter on the<strong> Citi Breakfast Show,<\/strong>\u00a0Lawyer Ndebugri \u00a0questioned the integrity of Anas and his Tigereye PI team.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe integrity of Tigereye PI has been put in question. That will inure to the benefit of whoever is being dealt with under the petition he presented. Who polices the policeman? This is the policeman that someone has also come out to say he is also subject to the failings of mankind. So how are we going to be sure that just because he came and brandish a video recording on a screen in utter disrespect of the law, means that these people must be convicted and dealt with the way the public is praying for their blood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lawyer Ndebugri, who had always kicked against Anas being hooded before the judicial committee said \u201cAmidu\u2019s intervention will help us to try and look deeper into the matter so that we can get to the bottom of this matter concerning the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhat is important is that, we must discover the truth connected with all these matters,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: Godwin A.
