It was a wonderful day that kids from the Good Shepherd Orphanage will never forget as they enjoyed their first-ever 3D movie experience at the new ultra-modern Global Cinemas located at the old-Weija Barrier.<\/p>\n
Organised by Global Media Alliance (GMA) and the Rotaract Club of Accra-Labone (RoCAL) in partnership with Global Cinemas, the event \u201c#movie4kids\u201d, was to create an invaluable experience for the children and also an opportunity to bond with the kids.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n In their Dolby 3D spectacles, over 50 children from the orphanage watched the new blockbuster movie, PAN while enjoying their popcorn and drinks.<\/p>\n President of RoCAL, Ekow Quandzie said \u201cThe Club decided to move away from the usual donations and have such a treat for the kids who enjoyed a 3D movie for the first time in their life\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Head of Public Relations at GMA, Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo said the project was part of GMA\u2019s CSR activities. \u201cWe decided to partner with the Rotaract Club to embark on this corporate social responsibility activity and we believe that #movie4kids achieved the intended purpose of creating an invaluable experience for the children that will last for long.\u201d<\/p>\n The two organisations also donated some story books to the orphanage to enhance their reading skills.<\/p>\n
