{"id":163949,"date":"2015-11-02T07:04:39","date_gmt":"2015-11-02T07:04:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=163949"},"modified":"2015-11-02T07:04:39","modified_gmt":"2015-11-02T07:04:39","slug":"ndc-to-hold-crunch-nec-meeting-on-parliamentary-primaries-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/11\/ndc-to-hold-crunch-nec-meeting-on-parliamentary-primaries-today\/","title":{"rendered":"NDC to hold crunch NEC meeting on parliamentary primaries today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will hold an emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting today [Monday] to discuss the party\u2019s upcoming <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/08\/13\/ndc-to-hold-parliamentary-presidential-primaries-on-november-7\/\" target=\"_blank\">parliamentary primaries.<\/a> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;nu01wbwPubPblX9ahjuCmlYUSRCNrkJJ&#8221;]Today\u2019s meeting will among other things determine whether to maintain the November 7<sup>th<\/sup> date or change it to allow the party deal with issues emanating from some constituencies.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to<strong> Citi News<\/strong> a Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho indicated that the party is prepared to consider all options at stake and arrive at a firm decision by close of day today.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We actually have an emergency NEC meeting to discuss issues relating to the primaries.
