The members of the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSSAG) have issued a roadmap for an indefinite strike if government fails to pay their allowances in the next two weeks.<\/p>\n
JUSSAG has been agitating over unpaid allowances which have been in arrears for some months now.<\/p>\n
A statement signed by the Deputy General Secretary of the association, Charles Osei Bonsu cited allowances for leave, fuel and overtime as some benefits yet to be paid to them.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”E2qxMjZs8cvvndpYPm5942adrJHzr5Y9″]The decision to strike according to JUSSAG has also become necessary because meetings with their employers have so far been unsuccessful<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n The industrial action scheduled to take place from 2nd<\/sup> November 2015 will be conducted as follows;<\/p>\n The group initially embarked on a similar action<\/a><\/strong><\/span> on the 19th<\/sup> of May this year. The action was subsequently suspended after the Employment and Labour Relations Minister, Haruna Iddrisu moved in to promise that the allowances will be paid by the last week of May<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n
