{"id":163634,"date":"2015-10-31T08:50:12","date_gmt":"2015-10-31T08:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=163634"},"modified":"2015-10-31T06:52:44","modified_gmt":"2015-10-31T06:52:44","slug":"i-havent-made-any-statement-on-afokos-suspension-alan-k","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/10\/i-havent-made-any-statement-on-afokos-suspension-alan-k\/","title":{"rendered":"I haven\u2019t made any statement on Afoko\u2019s suspension \u2013 Alan K"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A former Minister of Trade under the erstwhile New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, Alan Kyerematen says he has not issued any statement on the suspension of the party\u2019s National Chairman, Paul Afoko.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NPP last week suspended Paul Afoko over misconduct following a petition by the party\u2019s Disciplinary Committee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;8szBPJBbk6S7A7kGl7EbRIhpzXqmjMyC&#8221;]A statement signed by Nana Yaw Adutwum, Special Aide to Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen said a press release currently circulating in the media and attributed to his boss purporting to convey his comments on the recent developments in the NPP should be disregarded.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cMr. Kyerematen wishes to state categorically that he has not issued any such statement and considers it most inappropriate for anyone to have sought to do so.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The statement said \u201cMr. Kyerematen has made it very clear in his recent public remarks, particularly during the Rise and Build tour led by the Flag-bearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, that he is fully committed to helping build a strong united party, that will prosecute an aggressive all hands on deck campaign for victory in the 2016 General elections.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cMr. Kyerematen is therefore working actively with other senior members of the party to restore peace and calm at this crucial moment and he is hopeful that the NPP will come out of this storm, stronger and battle ready for Election 2016,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: Godwin A.
