The Head Pastor of the International Godsway Ministries, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has\u00a0 been acquitted and discharged by an Accra\u00a0 High Court for allegedly assaulting\u00a0 a radio panelist at Hot FM, an Accra-based radio station in 2011.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”sGJqOtzBKqN9mDgKDidMfVz1QNuACCJd”]According to the ruling by presiding judge Justice Abdulai Iddrisu, \u00a0the prosecution failed to provide credible evidence to back the charges against the accused, as the witnesses contradicted themselves in \u00a0court.<\/p>\n The judge further stated that the prosecution failed to call relevant witnesses who could have given more credible evidence in the case.<\/p>\n Bishop Obinim and his accomplices, who were offended by a discussion\u00a0 where he was accused of allegedly having sex with the wife of Pastor Williams Fobi, a junior pastor of his church, was accused of going to the Adabraka-based radio station with a crowbar and sticks to damage their property.<\/p>\n
