{"id":16261,"date":"2014-05-03T16:52:15","date_gmt":"2014-05-03T16:52:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=16261"},"modified":"2014-05-03T21:15:16","modified_gmt":"2014-05-03T21:15:16","slug":"kofi-ansah-passes-on","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/05\/kofi-ansah-passes-on\/","title":{"rendered":"Kofi Ansah passes on"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Citi News<\/strong> has learnt the widely acclaimed fashion designer, Kofi Ansah has passed on.<\/p>\n<p>He is reported to have died on Friday after he was rushed to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of his death is immediately not known.<\/p>\n<p>Kofi Ansah is credited for designing the Ghana @ 50 anniversary fabric.<\/p>\n<p>He also designed the costumes for the performers of both the opening and the closing ceremonies of the CAN 2008 African Cup of Nations which was hosted in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Ansah was considered one of the foremost fashion designers to have changed the face of fashion designing in Ghana and Africa.<\/p>\n<p>He was a founding member and a past president of the Federation of African Designers.<\/p>\n<p>Until his death, he owned Artdress, a design and creative concept company through which he developed the art of clothing design, concept collections, and consultancy to develop products and company promotions, and the marketing of their products through fashion shows.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>By: citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Citi News has learnt the widely acclaimed fashion designer, Kofi Ansah has passed on.
