Tedam, F.F Anto and Minority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;xmZxesZRKg0cmkVe7JfKcELPiBvQMQfz&#8221;]The plaintiffs in this case are Tweneboah Kodua Emmanuel, Stephen Owusu and Joseph Oppong Boadi.<\/p>\n<p>The trio earlier today secured an injunction to stop the NEC meeting held by the party earlier today <a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/10\/23\/paul-afoko-suspended-indefinitely\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>that suspended Paul Afoko.<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTake notice that counsel for plaintiffs\/applicants praying this honourable court for an order of interculotory against the defendant\/respondent, their assigns and privys, agents, servants, workmen, allottess, grantees and successors in interest, other alienees, and relations whatsoever and howsoever described to restrain them from convening a meeting of the NEC of the NPP or any other such meeting, attending such a meeting or otherwise taking any disciplinary action against the chairman of the party until this dispute is finally determined and for such further other(s) as this honourable court may deem fit\u201d, the injunction application stated.<\/p>\n<p>However, the injunction notice could not reach any of the NEC members before the unanimous decision to suspend Mr Afoko.<\/p>\n<p>Friday\u2019s NEC meeting was<a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/10\/23\/mayhem-rocks-npp-headquarters-again-car-motorbike-destroyed\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong> marred by violence<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>in the morning when members of the party\u2019s private security, \u2018Invisible Forces,\u2019 burnt a motorbike and destroyed the windscreen of a taxi cab at the party office.<\/p>\n<p>According to them, a youth group they suspect were members of \u2018Bolga Bull Dog\u2019 who are allegedly loyalists of Mr. Afoko had attempted to disrupt the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The council in the letter enumerated amongst others, the many challenges the party has been facing in recent months and the failure of the Chairman to restore order.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Franklin Badu Jnr\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)\u00a0have gone to court seeking to nullify the outcome of the National Executive Committee meeting on Friday, which suspended the National Chairman, Paul Afoko.
