{"id":161595,"date":"2015-10-22T16:08:33","date_gmt":"2015-10-22T16:08:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=161595"},"modified":"2015-10-22T15:10:57","modified_gmt":"2015-10-22T15:10:57","slug":"i-have-not-failed-tema-east-titus-glover-replies-critics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/10\/i-have-not-failed-tema-east-titus-glover-replies-critics\/","title":{"rendered":"I have not failed Tema East &#8211; Titus Glover replies critics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Member of Parliament for Tema East, Titus Glover has discounted claims by NDC parliamentary aspirant, Michael Nii Abbey that he has failed his constituents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Michael Abbey on Point Blank on <strong>Eyewitness News<\/strong> accused Titus Glover for reneging on his promises to the people of Tema East.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;AUWUJITDwAQPyfbV9zNkLXOdulEEfd5b&#8221;]According to Mr. Abbey, the incumbent MP must be shown the exit in next year\u2019s elections because he has lost touch with the people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cTitus Glover has lost connection with the people, when you fail to fulfill your promise then the people\u2019s trust in you dwindles,\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cFor instance he promised the fire service department in Tema that he is going to build an apartment for them, but nothing has been done after the sod cutting ceremony. He also promised a library project for a secondary school in Tema Manhia but that is yet to be fulfilled,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In response however, Titus Glover blamed the NDC for rather causing the delays in some of the projects within the area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cProblems should be laid at the doorstep of the chief executive who is playing politics with the project because I had long received the funding for most projects.
