A Mercedes Benz bus which was carrying some workers of the State House, has been\u00a0involved in an accident on the Ako Adjei Interchange in Accra.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n The accident occurred when a Man Diesel Truck from the Canadian Embassy portion of the road, ran into the government registered staff bus, as\u00a0the driver attempted a turn towards the Osu stretch of the interchange.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The driver of the truck reportedly said he had a brake failure and had to hit the bus from behind to stop his truck.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, 16 persons including the driver, sustained minor injuries and are receiving treatment at the Cantonments Police Hospital.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service confirmed the incident to Citi News<\/strong> adding that they are currently investigating the case.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n This comes on the back of two accidents that had occurred in the last two months involving some journalists that covered programmes the president attended.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The first one occurred on\u00a0the Afienya-Doryumu road<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in the Greater Accra Region, leaving Samuel Nuamah of the Ghanaian Times Newspaper dead, and several others injured.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n
