{"id":161530,"date":"2015-10-22T14:37:16","date_gmt":"2015-10-22T14:37:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=161530"},"modified":"2015-10-22T12:53:26","modified_gmt":"2015-10-22T12:53:26","slug":"ndc-aluta-boys-retreat-on-mayhem-threats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/10\/ndc-aluta-boys-retreat-on-mayhem-threats\/","title":{"rendered":"NDC Aluta Boys retreat on mayhem threats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Leaders of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) Aluta Boys in Tamale have disassociated the group from comments made by some of the members\u00a0<span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/10\/21\/ndc-aluta-boys-threaten-mayhem-over-release-of-npp-men-3\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0to cause mayhem<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some angry members of the group on Wednesday in a <strong>Citi News<\/strong> interview expressed their misgivings on the <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/10\/21\/court-frees-5-npp-activists-over-ndc-mans-murder\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kumasi Appeals Court ruling<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;RGUinqTC74jkHapFywFswiBCLrvTcQJj&#8221;]The group\u2019s leaders in a sharp rebuttal on Thursday condemned the earlier threat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They are promising to respect the rule of law for sanity to prevail in the Tamale Metropolis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adam Abubakari reprimanded the group\u2019s members to desist from issuing threats.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said the Aluta Boys are for peace and will do nothing untoward to cause mayhem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe just want to talk for people to hear that Aluta Boys we want peace we don\u2019t want violence: Alutas we no stand for violence we stand for peace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cOur motto is do me I do you man no go verse: if you no do us we no mind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The group\u2019s Chairman, Abdulai Yushawu appealed to Ghanaians to ignore the earlier threat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe are appealing to Ghanaians.
