Traditional land owners have been advised to seek legal documentation for their properties or risk losing them.<\/p>\n
The promulgation of the Land Title Registration Act over four decades ago makes it compulsory for lands to be duly registered, but many land owners have flouted it.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the theme: ‘Advocacy Action on Agricultural Land Rights for Coastal Farmers’ at Yabiw in the Shama District of the Western Region, the Project Coordinator of agricultural empowerment NGO, TRACTOR, Francis Adarkwah, called on stakeholders in agriculture to familiarize themselves with land use maps of the communities where they operate, in accordance with the spatial development framework designed for districts.<\/p>\n
