{"id":160723,"date":"2015-10-19T11:36:12","date_gmt":"2015-10-19T11:36:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=160723"},"modified":"2015-10-19T20:36:43","modified_gmt":"2015-10-19T20:36:43","slug":"bog-to-issue-1-5-million-cedi-bond-on-thursday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/10\/bog-to-issue-1-5-million-cedi-bond-on-thursday\/","title":{"rendered":"BoG to issue 1.5 million cedi bond on Thursday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Bank of Ghana (BoG) will on Thursday 22 October, 2015 issue a 1.5 million cedi 3 year fixed rate bond.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The auction comes a couple of days after government issued a 1 billion dollar Eurobond at a coupon rate of 10.75 percent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The instrument which is Ghana cedi denominated, will be issued at par.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The bond will bear a coupon rate equal to the highest competitive bid accepted at the auction for the security.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proceeds from the bond will be used to restructure Government of Ghana debt and for maturity settlement.<\/p>\n<p>The 3 year fixed rate bond is available to both resident and non-resident investors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Settlement of the bond will take place on 26th October, 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The security will be listed o the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) for secondary market trading both at the floor of the Exchange or over the counter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2013<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: Vivian Kai Lokko\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bank of Ghana (BoG) will on Thursday 22 October, 2015 issue a 1.5 million cedi 3 year fixed rate bond.
