However,\u00a0coming on the heels of the revelations on the judicial corruption by Anas and his team, there are suggestions one of the implicated judges may have masterminded the kidnapping.<\/p>\n
The Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh, in an earlier interview with Citi News said Ishmael Hussein was coincidentally rescued from a shop belonging to a relative of one of the implicated judges exposed in the undercover investigations.<\/p>\n
ASP Ebenezer Tetteh says the court presided over by His Honor Inspector Twumasi Appiah, did not take the suspect\u2019s plea of not guilty; and remanded him to reappear on October 19, to allow the police conduct further investigations.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile a member of the private investigative firm Tiger Eye PI has told Citi News attempts to intimidate them will not stop them from doing their work.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will term what has happened as an occupational hazard; but for our members across the country we are safe, secured and comfortable. Our focus is not on what has happened and it\u2019s not a distraction. Our focus is on the judges\u2019 issue. Our colleague is doing very fine\u201d he noted.
