Ghana international midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has revealed his delight at coming back from a long spell in the stands after a sustaining an injury several months ago.<\/p>\n
The all action midfielder and wing back had been out of competitive football for the last 337 days before making his debut this season in Juventus\u2019 last Sunday\u2019s 3-1 victory over Bologna.<\/p>\n
The 26-year old talks about the support he had from loved ones and beliefs his recovery is in full throttle as he takes each day at a time. \u201cI\u2019m training every day with the team in order to get back to full fitness.<\/p>\n
I can tell I\u2019m improving day by day and I\u2019m happy.<\/p>\n
By remaining on this track I\u2019ll be back to my old self \u2013 my career is still a long one and I\u2019ve got many years ahead of me,\u201d he said to Juventus\u2019 official website on Friday.<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cIt\u2019s not easy to be sidelined for such a long time, I\u2019ve been watching games at home or at the stadium with an ever increasing desire to be back out there alongside my team-mates.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve had great support from my family, staff and team-mates, who have always been able to find the right words to give me the positivity I\u2019ve required on my road to recovery. Now I\u2019m on my way back and I can\u2019t wait to be out on the pitch again.\u201d<\/p>\n
Asamoah also takes time to speak about his new teammate Dybala who arrived from Palermo this summer transfer window and thinks he can help Juventus defend their title this season.<\/p>\n
He also spoke about \u201cAfter a difficult start we\u2019re back to winning ways again. Winning is crucial for us. Beginning a season slowly is something that can happen, but we must remain positive and aware that we can always do better.<\/p>\n
\u201cDybala\u2019s blessed with great technical quality and plenty of promise. He\u2019s also a great lad. Cuadrado possesses creativity and pace, and is a really tricky customer to deal with. Morata makes the difference, while Pogba has an excellent mentality and is getting better with every game.\u201d<\/p>\n
