Following the heavy downpour that flooded most parts of Accra on Friday, government is urging residents to move to higher grounds.<\/p>\n
A statement signed by the Minister of Communications, Edward K. Omane Boamah further entreated Ghanaians to stay away from open drains.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cGovernment urges residents of Accra and all parts of the country to take note of the persistent downpour this morning. Residents are encouraged to stay away from open drains and move to higher grounds if they live in low-lying areas.\u201d<\/p>\n
