Properties worth thousands of Ghana cedis were lost in the downpour that occurred on Friday morning in\u00a0the national capital, Accra.<\/p>\n

The rains, which lasted for\u00a0two hours submerged homes and vehicles.<\/p>\n

Areas including the Kwame Nkramah Circle, Adabraka, Kaneshie and Lapaz were mostly affected.<\/p>\n

\u00a0A visit by Citi News<\/strong> to some of the affected areas saw some residents counting their loses after the downpour.<\/p>\n

The development\u00a0comes four months after the flood and fire disaster that occurred on June 3, claimed over 150 lives at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle.<\/p>\n
