Four suspected robbers believed to be part of a car-snatching syndicate in Accra\u00a0have been arrested.<\/p>\n
The Police arrested the\u00a0suspects\u00a0in Weija after they attacked and robbed a man of his vehicle.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”JF1p6pifGG6Qg6GC8V6fkaFhpmbqiRMU”]Addressing a press conference in Accra, the Accra Regional Police Commander DCOP Christian Tetteh-Yohuno said the suspects would soon be arraigned.<\/p>\n
Narrating the incident, DCOP Tetteh- Yohonu said: “On the 4th of October 2015, at about 2 am, 4 young men, armed with a gun broke into a house at New Bortiano, a suburb of Accra.”<\/p>\n
He said “the four attacked the victim, subjected him to severe beatings,and made away with following items; One HP computer, one ipad phone , one ipad samsung phone, set of jewellery.”<\/p>\n
“They demanded for the victim’s ignition key to his Toyota’s pick up and drove it away. With the help of a car tracking device, the Police managed to intercept the vehicle along the Sogokope road within about an hour. ”<\/p>\n
DCOP Tetteh Yohonu revealed that investigations are still ongoing and the arrested suspects shall be processed for court.<\/p>\n
