A Circuit Court Judge at Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region, Gabriel Mate-Teye, has condemned the practice where some influential personalities in the Ghanaian society, put enormous pressure on judges to tilt judgement to favour them and their cronies.

The judge was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of some 25 Assembly members at the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly on Tuesday.

[contextly_sidebar id=”wKhSkRERsF4eZB47ysDGwKUw2MTofGfw”]His comment comes at a time when some members of the judiciary have been exposed as corrupt in the latest work of investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI team.
