The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, has held two separate meetings with two top government officials in the United Kingdom on the need for Ghana to get a new voters’ register.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”HKy0thClsn5UQBBrHb2AgDhY43xawtoE”]The two officials are the Secretary of State International Development, Rt. Hon. Justine Greening, MP, and the outgoing Chairman of the Conservative Party International office, Hon. Geoffrey Clinfton \u2013 Brown, MP.<\/p>\n
The meeting was to place emphasis on the need for the United Kingdom to support Ghana\u2019s electoral reforms and NPP’s call for a new voters’ register.<\/p>\n
Mr. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong stressed that the NPP has uncovered various discrepancies such as double registration, registration of minors among others.<\/p>\n
