{"id":157908,"date":"2015-10-07T11:23:04","date_gmt":"2015-10-07T11:23:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=157908"},"modified":"2015-10-07T11:24:46","modified_gmt":"2015-10-07T11:24:46","slug":"jak-foundation-launches-scholarship-scheme-to-groom-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/10\/jak-foundation-launches-scholarship-scheme-to-groom-students\/","title":{"rendered":"JAK Foundation launches scholarship scheme\u00a0to groom students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The John Agyekum Kufuor Foundation has launched a three-year \u00a0programme aimed at grooming tertiary students to take up leadership roles.<\/p>\n<p>Beneficiaries of this programme will be supported throughout their tertiary education.<\/p>\n<p>The programme is specifically targeted at students who have completed at least the first year of their tertiary education.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the launch of the programme, CEO of the Foundation, Prof. Baffour Agyeman Duah, said the rationale behind the programme is to equip the new generation of leaders with the right mindset to transform the country.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The scholars programme will enable students or young people who are inducted into the programme to enjoy certain facilities and we will help to offer some new orientation to our young people.\u00a0The scholarship is not just the monetary award that you gain; in fact lucky students will be given a minimum of 10,000 cedis over three years.
