Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has disclosed of plans by the government of Ghana to open a mission in Kuwait which will pave the way for the gulf emirate to have an envoy stationed in Accra.<\/p>\n
According to Mr. Amissah Arthur, the move is also expected to enable Kuwait scale-up its support to Ghana through the Kuwaiti fund.<\/p>\n
The vice-president said this when the Kuwaiti ambassador to Benin with concurrent accreditation to Ghana, Mohammed Hussain Al-Failakawi paid a courtesy call on him at the flagstaff house.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n He further commended the Kuwait government for the support to Ghana\u2019s infrastructure:<\/p>\n \u201cWe are grateful for a small state like Kuwait for the many support for the development of infrastructure in Ghana particularly for large scale projects like the Kpone hydroelectric dam\u2026we hope that it will continue even in a more strengthened way than we have now,\u201d Mr. Amissah said.<\/p>\n
