The out-gone Vice Chancellor of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Processor Haruna Yakubu has dismissed claims that the university was established with a tribal connotation.<\/p>\n
Though it was established with the three regions of the north in mind, he said the UDS under his watch opened its frontiers to national and international communities.<\/p>\n
Professor Haruna Yakubu reiterated his standpoint when he officially handed over to the new Vice Chancellor, Professor G.A Teye.<\/p>\n
