The Chief Justice, Georgina Wood, has forwarded to President Mahama, the report from the committee that investigated allegations of financial impropriety against the former head of the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Lauretta Lamptey.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”4qSVaR3atehc82HQPBIQx31tYLJNC2BV”]This was after the five member committee submitted its report to the Chief Justice on Wednesday September 30, in line with Article 146 (4) of the 1992 Constitution.<\/p>\n
In statement signed by the Judicial Secretary, Alex Poku Acheampong, the Chairman of the committee, Justice Anin Yeboah, a justice of the Supreme Court remarked that the parties cooperated fully with the committee\u2019s work.<\/p>\n
The chief justice thus thanked the committee for the work done.<\/p>\n
