The players were asked to leave the hotel on Friday by the Ministry of Sports due to the increasing cost of bills but interventions from some influential persons kept the team at the hotel after a promise that the bills would be paid later.<\/p>\n
The team had been lodging at the hotel since their arrival from Congo on September 20.<\/p>\n
Marketing Executive at the M Plaza Hotel, Eva Love Mensah, confirmed to Citi News<\/strong> on Wednesday that most of the players have checked out.<\/p>\n\u201cMost of them are gone but we have few ones here who were called back because I heard some people wanted to come and meet them for a brief meeting\u201d. We always give them credit facilities; sometimes they check out before they pay\u201d.
