Citi Business News has gathered the Chief Operations Officer of Africa World Airlines (AWA) Apigy Afenu, has resigned.<\/p>\n

Apigy Afenu\u00a0was appointed Chief Operations Officer of AWA in 2012,\u00a0and is credited with overseeing the transformation and growth of the airline over the past three years.<\/p>\n
He is also credited with attracting South Africa airways to code- share with AWA to Washington DC in the US.<\/p>\n
