The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akuffo Addo has called for due process to be followed in the case involving some implicated lower and high court judges for alleged cases of bribery.<\/p>\n
Nana Addo who believes persons found culpable in the bribery scandal should be duly punished however warned\u00a0that the process should be carried out in a manner that will not violate the rights of the accused.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026There should be due process not only to safeguard the rights of the judges involved but also to ensure that wrongdoers are punished and no one however elevated in society, is seen to be above the law\u2026 we are all equal before the law,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
34 lower and high court judges have allegedly been captured in a video accepting bribe to influence their judgements.<\/p>\n
