UN general assembly<\/strong> .<\/a><\/p>\nBarely 24 hours after the UN adopted the sustainable development goals the three governments who are jointly spearheading the idea hosted a forum to consolidate their efforts.<\/p>\n
President Mahama believes a well controlled investment by governments in the health sector would ensure efficient primary health care delivery.<\/p>\n
“On the question of building resilient\u00a0health systems, I believe that one is for us to continue to invest both at the national level and the international level and also to invest not in terms of the quantity of funds that we are putting in but how we can make every single dollar that we are putting in more efficiently used than what we are doing currently.”<\/p>\n
