Arguably one of Ghana\u2019s finest lyricists, Mr.Kwame Nsiah Apau better hailed as Okyeame Kwame (OK) has announced that in pursuit of the next phase of his career and other opportunities he has decided to end his brand ambassadorial relationship with telecommunications giant MTN with effect from September 18.<\/p>\n

Together, Okyeame and MTN forged a give and take relationship that saw each other leveraging off the other\u2019s platforms for mutually beneficial purposes.<\/p>\n
Okyeame Kwame believes 5 years of icon association, though beneficial, is also restrictive in the areas sponsorships, performances and innovation. Hence, the need to move on.<\/p>\n
While promoting the MTN brand he released 2 albums and 2 singles and also won 6 prestigious awards. Key among his achievements was his \u00a0Hepatitis B advocacy across the nation, which has helped raise the awareness of the general populace and was co-supported by MTN Ghana foundation.<\/p>\n
