The show has five musical categories, namely Highlife, Hip-hop\/Hiplife, Reggae Dancehall, Gospel and Classical Music.<\/p>\n
Unlike other reality shows in which all the categories are jammed up to produce a single winner, each category in the \u201cKill The Beat: Become a Star\u201d show will produce a winner.<\/p>\n
The programme is a unique reality show and it is expected to hit the screens of various TV stations across the country soon.<\/p>\n
It is aimed at unearthing talents not only from the youth seeking to enter the music industry but also the aged who may have had such talents but could not exhibit them due to lack of opportunities.<\/p>\n
How to apply <\/strong><\/p>\n Under \u201cKill The Beat: Become a Star\u201d reality show, an audio CD with several instrumentals is given to contestants when they purchase audition forms.<\/p>\n The contestant then select one of the instrumentals, rehearse with their own lyrics and perform it at the audition.<\/p>\n The Chief Executive Officer for Trinity Business Consult Ltd, the organizers of the event, Raymond Koomson, expressed optimism that \u201cKill the Beat: Become a Star\u201d has come to give a solution to several reality shows that are already in the industry.<\/p>\n \u201cSeveral of these musical reality shows are already being aired on our various TV stations and they are doing well but \u2018Kill the Beat: Become a Star\u2019 has come to tackle the challenges that have engulfed those already in session.
