One of the best performing schools in the Northern Regional capital\u00a0of\u00a0Tamale, the Sakasaka Presbyterian primary school is faced\u00a0with overcrowding.<\/p>\n
With a population of 850 students, the school can only boast of three classroom blocks and a makeshift structure accommodating JHS\u00a0one students.<\/p>\n
All classrooms at the Kindergarten, lower and upper primary levels are congested.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n The school authorities are compelled to halt admissions during the 2015\/16 academic season.<\/p>\n The school\u2019s\u2019 headteacher, Anena Victor, in a Citi News<\/strong> interview called for government\u2019s immediate intervention.<\/p>\n \u201cI am appealing to government to assist us raise one of the blocks or even the front view of the school into a storey building to accommodate the entire school.\u201d<\/p>\n
