The National Council of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially met with the Disciplinary Committee of the party over the former’s demand for the suspension of the party\u2019s National Chairman, Paul Afoko.<\/p>\n
The Council about a fortnight ago, wrote to the Disciplinary Committee asking that Mr. Afoko be investigated for breaching the party\u2019s constitution.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe National Council appeared before the disciplinary committee to as it were table the letters formally and answer any querry and we even made recommendations to the disciplinary committee and the disciplinary committee in its own time will probably make announcements with regards to the kind of release that the National Council of Elders asked for.\u201d<\/p>\n
