The late Ghanaian Times reporter, Samuel Nuamah who died in an accident on the Ho-Accra road has been laid to rest.<\/p>\n

Samuel\u00a0Nuamah, a member of the Presidential Press Corps lost his life in\u00a0an accident involving the media bus while returning from an assignment in Ho in the Volta Region.<\/p>\n

\"samuel<\/a><\/p>\n

Though \u00a0President John Mahama was at the funeral, his tribute was read by the Minister of Communications, Edward Omane Boamah.<\/p>\n

\"samuel<\/a><\/p>\n

In the tribute he said \u201cI\u2019m so gutted by your death. Six years of dedicated service to my office and all ends in such a waste of your life. Like other members of the Flag staff House press corps, I\u2019ve followed your report in the Ghanaian Times.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"samuel<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a traumatizing Thursday when I picked the regular report of the recovery process at the accident scene. Death was not what came to mind.”<\/p>\n

\"samuel<\/p>\n

“We have over the years built a strong relationship with our press corps. A very quiet yougman from the outside, but his name Samuel Nuamah \u00a0and personality was still recognizable, why, I don\u2019t know. But anytime I look within the press corps at functions, he was one of the few I spotted, always smartly dressed with a bag behind.”<\/p>\n

“Adieu Sammy, fare thee well, rest in peace.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, some of the members of the presidential press corps also eulogized their colleague.<\/p>\n
