{"id":151930,"date":"2015-09-16T09:53:22","date_gmt":"2015-09-16T09:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=151930"},"modified":"2015-09-16T09:53:22","modified_gmt":"2015-09-16T09:53:22","slug":"ezenator-faces-first-political-test-her-ndp-posters-pop-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/09\/ezenator-faces-first-political-test-her-ndp-posters-pop-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Ezenator faces first political test; her NDP posters pop up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It seems the race to parliament on the ticket of the NDC for former President Rawlings daughter, Dr Ezenator Rawlings will be anything but easy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some unknown faces in the Klottey Korley Constituency, where she has filed to contest the NDC primaries seem to be working to get the vetting committee to have her disqualified.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;6aPFlHEO4QK0v5OZmWFrroPm3ypsUqdr&#8221;]Dr Rawlings is hoping to beat the incumbent, Nii Armah Ashitey and three others in the Klottey Korley Constituency.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, for Dr Rawlings, the race is starting on an unsteady note.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">First, NDC executives in Klottey Korley were reported to have stated that Dr Rawlings was unknown among members in the constituency.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The next campaign by her opponents is drawing inspiration from her mother\u2019s party, the National Democratic Party (NDP). Posters questioning her party allegiance have been splashed in the Constituency.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These are not posters campaigning for the daughter of the NDC founder, rather, posters that seem to undermine her position in the NDC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The poster has both the NDC and the National Democratic Party symbols on it as well as photos of three children of the former first family including her.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All three in the poster are seen wearing polo shirts with what looks like NDC colours, red, white, black and green.
