The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has taken over investigations into the alleged murder of a resident of Kojo-Oku near Kasoa by a soldier.<\/p>\n
One person was reported dead with three others sustaining injuries in clashes involving residents of the area and some military personnel, during a demolishing exercise on September 3<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”jNQvEDXmgfl7D3pI1Pz33HjoNdZEUhMX”]The residents demanded that the \u201cowner\u201d of the parcel of land provided a court order permitting him to embark on the demolition.<\/p>\n The confrontation also came about when the supposed owner of the parcel of land led a team of military men to demolish properties on the land.<\/p>\n Some residents in an interview with Citi News<\/strong> accused military personnel of firing the shot that killed the deceased.<\/p>\n
