{"id":150970,"date":"2015-09-12T10:43:44","date_gmt":"2015-09-12T10:43:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=150970"},"modified":"2015-09-12T10:43:44","modified_gmt":"2015-09-12T10:43:44","slug":"we-are-not-hounding-afoko-nana-addos-campaign-aide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/09\/we-are-not-hounding-afoko-nana-addos-campaign-aide\/","title":{"rendered":"We are not hounding Afoko \u2013 Nana Addo\u2019s campaign aide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The campaign aide to the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Musah Superior has rubished claims that some leading members of the party are deliberately ganging up against the National Chairman, Paul Afoko.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;cZB0gmSJN8Q0yblGicOFTZTb8CujjHtF&#8221;]The party has been afflicted with protracted rivalry and mistrust as its National Council of Elders has requested the disciplinary committee, to suspend Mr Afoko until after the 2016 elections.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking on <strong>Point Blank<\/strong> on <strong>Eyewitness News<\/strong>, Musah Superior insisted that the party is rather concentrating on its campaign to bring hope to the people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said \u201cthe claims that the party is working to remove the national chairman is false, it\u2019s not true and anything that is not true is false.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said the party is instead organizing itself saying \u201cwe are on top of the party.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Musah Superior said the party is solid at the grass root level and was hopeful that the NPP will wrestle power from the governing National Democratic Congress in 2016.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The council in the letter also enumerated the many challenges the party has been facing in recent months, and believes Paul Afoko and the General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong are partly to be blamed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: Godwin A.
