Pastor Anita Oyakhilome, the wife of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has finally opened up about her rumoured marital troubles.<\/p>\n
Pastor Anita Oyahilome, a mother of two, filed for a divorce from her pastor husband, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy and Loveworld ministries in April 2014.<\/p>\n

The pastor who now goes by her maiden name, Ebhodaghe has now spoken up for the first time about the divorce through her blog and her post suggests she may have suffered abuse from her ex-husband.<\/p>\n
In the post she said:”Let nothing stop you from growing every day. My story is not one of a bed of roses, far from it but I had a choice to either beat myself over the regret of tolerating abuse for so long or put a stop to the abuse and recreate my life for the best. My journey was not in vain. I can now help others realise that their situation does not define them.\u201d<\/p>\n
The divorce which was filed at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn, London, United Kingdom caught most observers by surprise.<\/p>\n
Pastor Chris\u2019 take<\/strong><\/p>\n Earlier this year when rumours about the divorce hit the internet, Pastor Chris responded to media reports saying that \u201cI heard that some media houses, especially in Nigeria are writing some things against me. All sorts of frivolous charges, that\u2019s crazy. You have to understand something about a man of God. A man of God is not just someone who worships God or preaches God. A man of God is handpicked by God, set on course by God. If you study the scriptures, you will not find one man of God go against God, sinning against God.\u201d<\/p>\n According to him, \u201cIf a man of God is married, it doesn\u2019t automatically mean that the wife of a man of God is therefore a woman of God.
