The Adentan Municipal Assembly on Friday demolished structures supposedly erected on waterways at Adjiringanor in Accra.<\/p>\n
The structures had been built near the Lake Tesa.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n According to the Assembly, Lake Tesa, which stretches from East Legon to parts of the motorway, has been encroached.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The exercise according to the Adentan Munipal Assembly was to prevent further encroachment.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The Assembly further explained that affected residents were notified in advance before the demolition exercise.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n A team made up of the Military, Police, Fire Service, NADMO and officers of the assembly were there to ensure the exercise went on any resistance.<\/p>\n
