The 2016 general elections seem to be attracting more media practitioners\u00a0in the country, as Radio Gold’s breakfast show host Alhassan Suyuhini also laces up for the big contest to enter\u00a0Parliament.<\/p>\n

Information available to citifmonline.com<\/strong> suggests that the astute broadcaster, Alhassan Suhuyini is gearing up to wrestle the Tamale North seat\u00a0on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).<\/p>\n

The incumbent MP for the area, Alhassan Dahamani won the seat as an independent candidate.<\/p>\n

About Suhuyini<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini is the host of two of Radio Gold’s flagship programs; the breakfast\u00a0show called the “Gold Power Drive” and the weekend socio-economic and political current affairs program – Alhaji and Alhaji talk show.<\/p>\n

His career as a radio presenter started at Diamond FM in Tamale before he moved to Accra.<\/p>\n

He had a brief stint with Citi FM<\/strong> and Metro TV before settling with Radio Gold.<\/p>\n

He was appointed in 2013 by President John Dramani Mahama as a board member of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).<\/p>\n

As of 2014 he was the Communications Manager for the National Hajj Council (Ghana).<\/p>\n
