The Overlord of Gonjaland in the Northern Region, Yagbon-Wura Tuntumba Boresa II has appealed to government \u00a0to fix the Damongo water crisis.<\/p>\n

The situation recently reached a worrying stage which compelled students in the area to sacrifice their studies in search of water.<\/p>\n
As the traditional capital of Gonjaland, the water crisis in Damongo township is making life difficult for inhabitants.<\/p>\n
At the inauguration of the Fufulso-Sawla road, the Overlord of Gonjaland, Yagbon-Wura Tuntumba Boresa II described the situation as a human security threat.<\/p>\n
According to the Yagbon-Wura, the lack of water in the Damongo township is scaring investors.<\/p>\n
He implored government to fix the problem as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Damongo water situation is still the same and this situation usually permits students to compete with their parents for water in Damongo: it is sad that students usually compromise their studies with the search for water in Damongo.\u201d<\/p>\n
