Enterprise Insurance, a non-life insurance company and the highest ranked general Insurer according to the prestigious GC100 (2011) has partnered with the \u00a0\u201cTechnology Advanced Bank of the Year 2015\u201d, Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited to provide easy and convenient channels for its customers to buy motor insurance online and pay premiums online or in GTBank branches.<\/p>\n
Through this partnership, GTBank has deployed its web based payment platform (GTPay) and Point of Sales Terminals (POS) to Enterprise Insurance branches nationwide. In addition, customers of Enterprise Insurance can walk into any of the 31 branches of the bank to also pay their motor insurance premium via the bank\u2019s GTCollect platform.<\/p>\n
The deployment of the bank\u2019s GTPay platform would enable customers of Enterprise Insurance buy motor insurance online and pay their premiums on line, in their own comfort and at their own convenient time, using their Visa or Master cards. Similarly, customers of Enterprise Insurance can walk into any branch of Enterprise Insurance and swipe their cards on the POS deployed by GTBank to pay their insurance premiums.<\/p>\n
For those customers who find themselves close to a GTBank branch and need to pay their insurance premium, they can enter any branch of the bank to pay their premium once they have the appropriate reference code generated online or given to them by Enterprise Insurance.<\/p>\n
The icing on the cake in this partnership is that, the deployment of the web payment platform has the much needed innovation for convenience. Customers of Enterprise Insurance who intend to buy new vehicle insurance or renew existing one can easily access the service by simply visiting the GTBank\u2019s or Enterprise\u2019s website.<\/p>\n
In working together on these deployments, the underlying benefit is the provision of convenient and multiple channels for vehicle owners to buy or renew and pay motor insurance without having to go through the hassles usually associated with doing so. Similarly, the deployments are intended for Enterprise Insurance to have a seamless and reliable way to collect payments from its motor insurance policy holders.<\/p>\n
To initiate a new policy for instance, all that the intended customer would need to do is log on to Enterprise Insurance\u2019s website directly or on to GTBank\u2019s website, identify the Enterprise Motor Vehicle Insurance icon and follow the instructions. The premium generated can be paid with either Mastercard or Visa card after which the certificate of insurance together with an online generated receipt is displayed on the screen for printing.<\/p>\n
For clients that do not wish to pay online, there are two other options, enabled by either GTCollect or GTPOS where the customer may opt to take the reference code generated online to any GTBank branch or Enterprise office nationwide and complete the purchase process.<\/p>\n
For existing customers who want to renew their motor insurance policy, the process is also simple. The customer just logs on to Enterprise Insurance\u2019s website, goes to the access page where he enters his client number and password and then follows the instructions. Once again the customer can either choose to pay online or print it out and pay at any GTBank or Enterprise Insurance location. Either medium of payment follows the same process as that of a first time user.<\/p>\n
In his remarks during the official launch of the partnership agreement with Enterprise Insurance, the Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited, Mr. Lekan Sanusi stated that \u201cWe are pleased to note that Enterprise Insurance has also seen the great benefit to be derived from our robust payments and collections platforms\u201d.<\/p>\n
