{"id":140715,"date":"2015-08-05T06:47:54","date_gmt":"2015-08-05T06:47:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=140715"},"modified":"2015-08-05T06:47:54","modified_gmt":"2015-08-05T06:47:54","slug":"vodafone-empowers-young-female-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/08\/vodafone-empowers-young-female-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Vodafone empowers young female students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vodafone Ghana has stepped up its commitment to empower young girls for the future benefit of the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Under a mentorship initiative by the Women in Vodafone, in partnership the Leading Ladies Network, the telecommunications company has organised a day\u2019s programme for school girls from six junior high schools within Accra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The girls were selected from various schools including St. Theresa School, God\u2019s Grace International, Sunflower School, Apenkwa JHS and Crown Prince Academy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They were taken through a range of topics including \u201cDreams and aspirations of a young lady in preparation for the Corporate World\u201d and \u201cHow to prepare to be a woman leader in school and your community\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Commenting on the mentorship programme, Stella Agyenim-Boateng, Human Resource Director for Vodafone Ghana, said:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe have a role to play in shaping the future of these young ladies. This mentorship programme is not only about sharing rich experiences but more about preparing the minds of young females for the future of this country.
