Following the indefinite nationwide strike declared by public sector doctors, the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital has closed down its Out Patient Department (OPD).<\/p>\n
In a statement signed by the management of the hospital, it informed the general public that anyone who will require outpatient services should go to other private and peripheral hospitals within the Metropolis.<\/p>\n

The members of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) on Thursday announced the partial withdrawal<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>of their services due to the failure of government to put together a document spelling out their conditions of service.<\/p>\n The public sector doctors had given the government ample time to address their demands but the document is not yet ready.<\/p>\n
