{"id":137640,"date":"2015-07-26T06:00:32","date_gmt":"2015-07-26T06:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=137640"},"modified":"2015-07-25T22:30:33","modified_gmt":"2015-07-25T22:30:33","slug":"naa-torshie-likely-to-lead-my-campaign-team-carlos-ahenkorah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/07\/naa-torshie-likely-to-lead-my-campaign-team-carlos-ahenkorah\/","title":{"rendered":"Naa Torshie likely to lead my campaign team \u2013 Carlos Ahenkorah"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The newly elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Tema West Constituency, Carlos Ahenkorah has announced that the incumbent Member of Parliament for the area, Irene Naa Torshie may be his campaign manager in the 2016 election.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/07\/25\/npp-primaries-carlos-ahenkorah-defeats-naa-torshie-at-tema-west\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Carlos Ahenkorah polled 503<\/strong><\/a><\/span> to become the parliamentary candidate for the area in the party\u2019s primaries on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;X177swvC8hUpqA0pVuJt2WrGjUEflaBw&#8221;]Irene Naa Torshie and Adwoa Amoakoa polled 273 and 2 respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking to <strong>Citi News<\/strong> an elated Carlos Ahenkorah promised to unite the NPP members in the Tema West Constituency.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He reiterated that Naa Torshie will be very instrumental in his parliamentary bid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cNaa Torshie is going to play a very vital role in what we are going to do in Tema West. Indeed, she might even lead our campaign team in 2016,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr Ahenkorah further assured that \u201cNaa Torshie would enjoy whatever privileges she enjoyed as an MP even when she wasn\u2019t on the throne. I don\u2019t enjoy to see people suffer and whilst I enjoy.
