The incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the Tema Central constituency, Kofi Brako has won the\u00a0New Patriotic Party (NPP)\u00a0primaries in the constituency.<\/p>\n

He polled 315 votes against his closest contender, Ramseyer Agyeman Prempeh who polled a paltry 95 votes.<\/p>\n

Agyeman Prempeh,despite some concerns raised has promised to work hand in hand with the winner.<\/p>\n

Mr. Brako has also declared his willingness to work with everyone to ensure that the party retains its seat in the 2016 elections.<\/p>\n

In a related development,\u00a0Carlos Ahenkorah has defeated the NPP incumbent MP for Tema West, Irene Naa Torshie Addo.<\/p>\n

Carlos Ahenkorah polled 503 while Naa Torshie Addo had 273.<\/p>\n

The other contender Adwoa Amoakoa \u00a0had 2 votes.<\/p>\n
