A year on after Ghanaian musician, Castro disappeared, songstress Mzbel seems to have given up any hope on his possible return.

This she said is because her instincts tells her Castro is dead.

[contextly_sidebar id=”rya4WWTgl34Bw6ht4lUxR4w1U9NJcYHy”]Castro, born Theophilus Tagoe and his lady friend Janet Bandu disappeared last year after holidaying at Ada in the Greater Accra Region.

While some people believe that Castro is dead, is father, John Eshun is convinced his son is alive.

But speaking on Citi FM’s Entertainment show programme, Saturday Live, Mzbel said she wished Castro would return some day.

“A week after his disappearance, I had a dream and I saw him looking so young, so fresh, so clean and he will never let me touch him but he was smiling. I asked him where have you been, everybody is worried and I tried to touch him but he will never let me touch him. And from what I believe, when you dream about somebody like that after he is missing or disappeared, it means he is dead. So me I feel like he is gone.”

“Nobody drowns and comes back alive but you know you can’t declare anybody dead when you don’t have a body until seven years. So sometimes I feel like that is the reason. But if what I’m hearing is true then I don’t think he is coming back,” she added.

I will slap Castro if I meet him

When asked by Show host, Kojo Akoto Boateng, what her first reaction would be when she sees Castro, Mzbel said, “I will slap his face like a million times, I’m very serious. Why would you go missing and keep everybody wondering. Why would anybody do that? It’s mean.”

Mzbel while recounting fond memories her encounter with the musician, described Castro as very instrumental in her music career.

“I miss him. I was at home when I heard Castro was missing. I heard on radio that he was dead…and I run bare footed to Asamoah Gyan’s family house because I lived opposite the place and everybody was on the phone. Everybody was talking about the issue, and nobody would talk to me. Everybody was crying and I started crying too.”

“Few days later, we went to his mum’s house and his dad said his son is not dead and nobody should mourn him. So then we assumed he’s somewhere and then we moved on,” she added.
