Tigo Ghana has built a brand new fully furnished six unit classroom block for the Obeng Yaw community in the Eastern region.<\/p>\n
This is the first beneficiary community as part of Tigo\u2019s attempt to transform education in rural Ghana through its Shelter 4 Education project.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n The project is part of Tigo\u2019s new flagship CSR programme which involves the building of new schools across the country to replace makeshift structures popularly referred to as \u201cschools under trees\u201d.<\/p>\n The Obeng Yaw Basic School in Adeiso can now also boast of an office space for the Headmaster, a staff common room and a pantry.<\/p>\n
