Government has been advised to consider naming some public universities after some past Presidents of Ghana.<\/p>\n
This, according to the Member of Parliament\u00a0(MP) for Tamale South\u00a0and Employment and Labour Relations Minister Haruna Iddrisu, is a better honour than only eulogizing them when they die.<\/p>\n
\u201cMany of the public universities should be named after some of our former leaders\u2026 and I think that we should begin to honour them while they live instead of just eulogizing them when they are dead,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
