On Tuesday, the Finance Minister, Seth Terkper presented to Parliament, the 2015 min-year budget review.<\/p>\n
His address gave an account of the first five months of government\u2019s implementation of the 2015 budget.<\/p>\n
Among other things, Mr. Terkper disclosed that the nation’s\u00a0expected economic growth of 3.9% for 2015 cannot be met.<\/p>\n
He also indicated that the overall budget deficit target, according to the Minister, has been revised from 6.5% of GDP to 7.3%.<\/p>\n
Inflation has also been reviewed upward; from 11.5% to 13.7%.<\/p>\n
