{"id":135829,"date":"2015-07-19T10:29:51","date_gmt":"2015-07-19T10:29:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=135829"},"modified":"2015-07-20T10:17:12","modified_gmt":"2015-07-20T10:17:12","slug":"fisherman-jailed-for-defiling-pupil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/07\/fisherman-jailed-for-defiling-pupil\/","title":{"rendered":"Fisherman jailed for defiling pupil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Agona Swedru Circuit Court has jailed a 19-year-old fisherman for defiling a seven-year-old pupil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Joseph Akapor who resides at Winneba pleaded guilty to the charge and the court accordingly jailed him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;gGpVD76gIAJADj2xWc31b4R8kpkAadCx&#8221;]Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Opoku Mensah told the court presided over by Justice Abigail Enimel Asare that the victim is a pupil at Winneba and lives with her parents at Anyan-Ye-Aboah, a community near the Police Command and Staff College at Winneba whilst the convict also lives in the vicinity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On May 25,\u00a0 at about 1000 hours the victim was sent by the mother and the convict lured her and had sex with her.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The victim informed the mother of her ordeal and the matter was reported to the Winneba branch of Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit of the Ghana Police Service.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Akapor was subsequently arrested.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Source: GNA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Agona Swedru Circuit Court has jailed a 19-year-old fisherman for defiling a seven-year-old pupil.
